Generally medical
staff can clean and disinfect electro operation table parts according to the brand manual. It should be noticed
that some parts can be cleaned with wet cloth, while some parts have very
strict requirement when clean it.
Soft and wet cloth
can be used to clean electro operation table surface, once a day or once every
two days, if necessary, scrub with a soft cloth soaked in a disinfectant
containing a chlorine preparation, make sure that the used disinfectant cloth
are gentle, it will be much better if the operation table has a certain degree
of corrosion resistance. Disinfectant should be mainly used in clinical
practice, soaking for 2 hours in a 0.5% peroxyacid solution can kill bacteria,
fungi and viruses, its main disadvantage is that it is corrosive to metals; Soaking
in 2% dialdehyde alkaline solution for 30 minutes can kill fungi, viruses,
tuberculosis and spores, it is the highest level of disinfectant at present,
its disadvantages are mild irritation to the skin and mucous membranes, odor, it
can be resumed after certain volatilization time; Soaking for 30 minutes in 2%
SS disinfectant and then immersing for 1 hour in 1:1 ratio with 2.4% of SS
disinfectant can also effectively kill bacteria.
Electro sensor is the
most important core component for operation table, similar to the CPU in
computer, it can neither be rinsed with water nor soaked in disinfectant, so as
not to damage its electrical properties. It is recommended to use 70% alcohol
swab to wipe gently.
As the main parts of
electro operation table, hydraulic pump, speed control valve and solenoid valve
should also be gently wiped with a clean, soft and wet cloth, and should not be
soaked with disinfectant, in order to avoid affecting the heating function and
reduce the accuracy of its control. All mattresses, table board, leg board,
etc., between the patient and the operating table should be thoroughly
disinfected, especially the cleansing and disinfecting of the gynecological operation table, they must be operated strictly according to the
standardization process.
