Medical pendant has different appearance design and function according to different departs usage. Generally, it is divided into operating room medical pendant and ICU medical pendant. So how to choose medical pendant for the 2 departments?

1.      Surgery type

Generally, surgery will use anesthesia machine, so the operating room should equip with surgery medical pendant which can meet the surgery requirement and anesthesia medical pendant which can supply anesthesia gas source and load anesthesia machine. 2.      Purification level

According to different purification level, operating room has different types: 100 level operating room, 1,000 level operating room and 10,000 level operating room, the area of their purification ceilings respectively are: 2.6×2.4, 2.6×1.8, 2.6×1.4. Medical pendant has different arm configuration and installation position according to different purification ceilings area. The best choice for 100 level operating room is double arm medical pendant to meet different position requirement; For 1,000 level and 10,000 level operating room, considering its loading and convenience, surgery medical pendant and endoscopic medical pendant can choose double arm, anesthesia medical pendant can choose single arm.

The mention of purification level is mainly due to the consideration of anesthesia machine placement, the higher the purification level, the better the laminar flow purification effect is. Therefore, anesthesia medical pendant should choose electric lifting as far as possible.
