1. Electric operating table should
be timely cleaning and disinfection before and after surgery, cleaning
operating table and accessories with weak alkaline cleaning agents which
containing surfactants and phosphates. Operating table’s disinfection should
use acetaldehyde-containing surface disinfectant, chlorine, chlorine compounds
and ethanol-containing mixture are forbidden, so as not to corrode the metal
surface. Do not use detergent and water to spray or rinse the base to prevent
damage to the internal electrical control system from short circuit, rust or
malfunction

Preventing accidental injury

Preventing dumping: when you doesn’t
lock or fix operating table, if you operate it or transfer patient, maybe
operating table will be moved, dumping or patient falling bed. So operating
table should be locked after operation

Preventing crushing: when releasing the
base brakes, do not place your feet under the base

Preventing tripping: the power cord should
be placed in the proper position to avoid tripping while walking

Preventing electric shock: do not
operate or maintain the operating table when the electrical access cover or
control part assembly is removed

Preventing burns: when using electric
knife, preventing the patient's skin contact with operating table’s metal parts,
to avoid burns

Handle controller should be hung on the
lateral rails. Its line should avoid pinch, crush, to prevent damage to the
line

Do not place heavy objects on the power
cord or carts run over the power cord

When using leg board and foot board,
patient cannot sit on it directly, to prevent break leg board and foot board

When using arm board, high pressure or placing
heavy items on it are prohibited, otherwise it will be break

Do not place accessories or heavy items
on base cover

Accessories management: when some
accessories are not used temporarily, it should be placed in dedicated shelves,
regular inspection to prevent loss and damage

Comprehending operating table’s correct
adjustment and different accessories’ usage and installation
10. Regularly
check the operating table’s function, do maintenance work by the professional
staff
11. After
usage, operating table should be clean and keep dry, to prevent damage to the
internal electrical appliances
12. Controller
should be hung on the lateral rail, and keep clean and dry after usage
13. Power
cord and hand-held controller should be checked frequently to see whether they
are damaged or broken, and make sure that they are not caught by other objects
14. When lateral
tilt or forward/backward tilt, patient should be fixed by body support and
strap, preventing patient falling
