Medical pendant failure analysis and elimination

1. No gas source output from medical gas
Common causes

(1). Whether the maintenance valve is open

(2). Medical gas pipeline is not connected or the air supply system is not aspirated
(3). The secondary terminal is not inserted in correct place
Solution

(1). Open the maintenance valve

(2). Connect medical gas pipeline or the air supply system support gas
(3). Insert the secondary terminal in correct place

2. Medical gas terminal leak

Common causes

(1). Medical gas terminal is not reset

(2). The terminal seal is damaged
(3). There are debris in the gas source to catch the terminal
Solution

(1). Use the secondary terminal plug repeatedly plug and pull to reset it

(2). Change medical gas terminal
(3). Clear the debris in the gas channel and terminal

3. Power indicator does not light/ Power outlet no power

Common causes

(1). The power cord is not connected

(2). The power circuit breaker is not dialed
Solution

(1). Connect power cord

(2). Dial power circuit breaker

4. Button does not work, work indicator light does not light or light but the brake and lift does not move
Common causes

(1). The switching power supply is damaged

(2). The instrument platform overloads makes the overload protection circuit work
(3). Motor short circuit makes overload protection circuit work

(4). Poor connector contact or control line short circuit makes no control signal to the electrical box input, causing no work

(5). Circuit board damaged or poor component contact and weld
Solution

(1). Change switching power supply

(2). Remove the heavy objects on the instrument platform
(3). Repair or replace the motor

(4). Dispose or replace the connector, control line

(5). Replace the circuit board

5. Network or telephone terminal no signal output

Common causes

(1). Network output module has bad contact with network cable, crystal head or wiring error; network short circuit

(2). Telephone output module has bad contact with network cable, crystal head or wiring error; telephone line short circuit

Solution

(1). Reconnect the network output module and the crystal head, replace the network cable

(2). Reconnect the telephone output module and the crystal head, replace the telephone line

6. Arm and terminal box cannot be rotated or cannot be positioned, the device drift phenomenon

Common causes

(1). Spherical nuts are tightly stuck

(2). Brake device is damaged or power supply, air supply is not connected

(3). Brake positioning device contact is not good

Solution

(1). Adjust the damping brake lock nut

(2). Connect the power supply and air supply or replace the brake

(3). Adjust the brake positioning device

7. Medical pendant shake when lift, instrument platform tilt, the machine is tilted

Common causes

(1). The pipe upper or lower connecting screw is loose, the platform connecting screw is loose

(2). Medical pendant assembly and bracket connection loose or bracket and concrete floor connection loose

Solution

(1). Adjust the fastening screw

(2). Fastening bracket connection bolts

8. Arm, terminal box and instrument platform rotation more than 340 °, cannot be limited

Common causes

(1). Locating pin broken because of excessive force when rotation

(2). Locating pin off

Solution

(1). Change locating pin

9. Arm, terminal box and instrument platform rotation is not flexible

Common causes

(1). The upper part of the pipe is tightly pressed

(2). The center beam of the middle beam is too tight

Solution

(1). Adjust the tightening nuts
